PGA Head Coach
Tony turned professional in 1998 and qualified through the PGA of GB&I as an honours graduate in 2002, attaining the level of Distinction and achieving 7th position in the final Trainee of the Year Order of Merit.
During the first 10-15 years since qualifying, Tony pursued a career in both playing and coaching. A career which has taken him across continental Europe and South West Asia as an academy coach whilst competing regularly, and later on as Head professional at some of these regions' premier golfing destinations.
It is the experience and knowledge garnered from working with excellent coaches in order to improve and develope his own golf game that has given Tony excellent diagnostic ability, a very sound knowledge of the golf swing and also great insight into game/player management.
Good communication between student and coach, prioritising the right areas for development and a genuine desire from both parties to achieve their goals whilst seeking to inspire, guide and have fun on the journey are the cornerstones of Tonys' coaching ethos.
